Billet clutch basket with bike plates for the Cosa clutch

The "LTH Plus" clutch uses 5 Honda clutch plates in a CNC made and hardened Cosa style basket. The advantage of the plates is the state of the art clutch material that is used in the MotoX bikes. It has less rest friction when pulled and a high friction when released. The thin clutch material strips and the many oil grooves reduce the rest moment because the oil film brakes much better. This helps shifting and reduces wear of gear and clutch parts.

With the crewed on cover the basket cannot explode and a fifth plate can be fitted. Becuse of this the torque it can transmit is increased by 30% if the same springs are used. Or if <you use less spring tension the maximum transmission capability stays the same.

The plates have 2.5mm thick noses so they and the basket does not wear so quickly. This prevents jumping of the clutch.

Even so the basket is quite massive it weighs only 520g including the cover plate. The many holes increase lubrication.

The kit includes basket, cover plate, screws, clutch plates, steel plates and basis plate.

The clutch is delivered with 10.9 torx screws that already have a screw lock. These have to be fitted with a torque drive with the torque of 1.7NM! They should be heated before you unlock them.

Attention: The clutch cover has to be dremeled out to have enough space for the basket. A 2-claw extractor should be used.

For a complete clutch some original Cosa parts need to be used.
